Come Pray, Hope, Dream with Us!

PRAY, HOPE, DREAM

In the fall of 2018, after much discussion and planning, we built a ‘prayer wall’ on the sidewalk outside of St. James’ front entrance and invited the community to write their wishes for prayers in chalk on the wall. After a slow start, the wall filled with prayers, which we incorporate into our Sunday Worship services. Now the wall fills up and is renewed weekly, and lets the community know we are praying for them.

Only God’s love will move us to act wisely, caringly, year upon year, all our lives.

Join us in our walk of faith toward greater love, understanding, and respect.

Welcome! We are currently seeking our next clergy leader, who will be a 3/4 Priest in Charge with the possibility of becoming Rector after three years.

Click on the links below to learn more about us and please check out our OTM profile as well.  We’re excited about what God might have in mind for us, and we hope you will be too!

If you believe God might be calling you to discern with us, please send a Letter of Interest, a current resume or CV, and a current OTM profile to ECCT’s Diocesan Transition Minister, Ms. Amber Page Gehr, at [email protected] .

ECCT follows a transition model called Transition is the New Normal (TINN). The information on this model can be found here or you can watch a Clergy Day presentation of the model here. If you would like to know more about TINN or the Priest in Charge process in Connecticut, please reach out to Amber Page Gehr, at [email protected].
