St. James’ Episcopal Church, situated within the heart of downtown Danbury, is within walking distance to City Hall, the public library, the Green, many small shops, restaurants, and businesses. There are approximately 45 houses of worship in the Danbury area, from nondenominational storefront churches to mega-churches, accommodating many religions and traditions of worship.
